Based on submitted experience, this is one of the least used Hungary-Serbia crossings during most of the year. Even here, multi-hour queues can still appear during top summer peaks.
How to choose a crossing?
Do not look only at one waiting-time number. Compare all of these together:
- where the queue ends on the map,
- the latest traveler reports,
- available camera images,
- opening hours and eligibility rules,
- detour length,
- and how many lanes the crossing can process.
A smaller crossing is not automatically faster: if only one lane is operating, a few dozen cars can still mean long waiting. At the same time, a less known crossing farther away may save time when major routes are blocked for hours.
